T.E.A.M. Jesus (Teach Everyone About My Jesus)

T.E.A.M. Jesus is the name of our children and youth ministry. A group of volunteers oversee the specific ministries to keep them cohesive and in line with your mission statement: We’re dedicated to connecting with children and their families across our church, school, and community, warmly welcoming them into the vibrant life of our congregation and fostering lifelong discipleship through high-quality, biblically grounded, and engaging programs.  We want to inspire children to develop a deep love for Jesus, prioritize God in their daily lives, and actively live out their faith by intentionally nurturing spiritual growth from early childhood through young adulthood and equipping parents to be strong Christian leaders at home.

Below are the specific ministries that are a part of T.E.A.M. Jesus:

Sunday School:

Teach or supervise a class each Sunday after church to tell our children about the Bible and build their faith. Lead the students in practicing songs and singing in church. Substitute teachers are also welcome.

Time Commitment: An hour on Sundays after the worship service during the school year.

Vacation Bible School (VBS):

Help to plan, set up, and/or run Vacation Bible School in the summer and/or around Christmas time. This could involve decorating, leading music, teaching, playing games, setting up food, etc.

Time Commitment: A few hours on a few days a year.

Youth Group:

There are various opportunities to get involved. Could be offering to lead or chaperone a particular activity, cook a meal for the group, lead a Bible study, help to supervise regularly during events, etc.

Time Commitment: Varies.
